Elaine Randall
Elaine qualified as a nurse in 1978, working in healthcare specialities including ITU, Operating Theatres and Paediatrics. She then went into the commercial world selling cleaning and disinfection products.

I just wanted to give you an update on how we are successfully using DIFFX at a number of our acute sites and community services. In conjunction with national PHE and local IPC guidance, we’re using the dilution rates as recommended, 1 to 5 for the floors, 1 to 3 for the daily cleans on touchpoints and 1 to 1 for terminal cleans in the event of an outbreak.
The feedback has been very positive, both from nursing and domestic staff, commenting that DIFFX is really easy to use, with none of the associated issues around reconstitution, odour, and corrosive damage to the environmental surfaces and floors which occur with chlorine solution. We’ve seen a significant improvement in standards of cleaning from a nursing and domestic perspective and have had no outbreaks linked to cleaning products or practice since we introduced DIFFX last year.
